Though water seems to flow freely in the many Latin Quarter fountains, having clean drinking water is not to be taken lightly. Thus, the bottled water which you can drink at Hôtel Maxim Quartier Latin is filtered tap water. This locally-sourced, purified Parisian water does not require any transportation or plastic manufacturing. Another example: when we do laundry, we use energy to heat the water and a large amount of pollutants are then released into the wastewater. So to preserve water, both qualitatively and quantitatively, Hôtel Maxim Quartier Latin will only change the linens in your room when you believe it to be necessary. This way, thousands of liters of water are saved each year, helping to protect an essential natural resource.
